Build Log #1: Improving LeadScrapper Search

This week was about making search feel less like a filter panel and more like a useful starting point.

The main lesson was that the faster the results become legible, the easier it is to make a good decision.

Small UX changes made the workflow feel tighter than a bigger redesign would have.

That is usually how product progress looks in practice: tiny improvements that remove friction in the right place.

Search is one of those features where small changes can have an outsized effect because the user is already trying to move quickly. If the results are confusing, the whole workflow starts to feel heavy. If they are clear, the product feels much smarter than it is.

The real goal here was not to add more power. It was to make the path from query to useful action feel shorter and more predictable.
