What Claude for Startups provides
Claude for Startups is Anthropic's program for early-stage companies building on Claude. Accepted founders receive API credits, technical guidance on working with the models, and access to a community of teams shipping the same kind of product.
Why it matters here
Navital Labs is one person. The limit on what ships isn't the idea list, it's the hours between classes, and every product decision competes with every other one for the same afternoon.
Claude is part of how the code gets written: drafting implementations, reviewing diffs before they ship, working through unfamiliar APIs, and doing the refactors that are easy to keep postponing when you are the only person who will notice.
The credits mean that leverage stops being metered. A one-person studio can afford to use it on the unglamorous work — tests, migrations, cleanup — instead of saving it for the parts that feel worth the spend.
